Types of
yard drains

1) French drains:

A French drain is a trench filled with a perforated pipe and gravel that allows water to drain naturally from your yard.

Along with corrugated pipe, we can use a catch basin, depending on the location of the flooded area to eliminate the largest problem areas.

Yard Helpers will dig a trench, modify the grade as necessary, and channel the excess water flow to lower elevations.

It may be best to link in to your existing downspouts, adding new pipe along with the corrugated. Also, it may be possible to direct runoff into road curbside release, a creek or a nearby pond or other body of water.
